Reuters Beijing Pictures is looking for an intern to join our team, starting late April 2019

Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and summarize news from local media and international media.
2. Support photographers and editors in the daily operation of the combined Pictures and Video team.
3. Register for events via email, phone, etc.
4. Translate documents etc. from English to Chinese and vice versa.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Must be a current university student. Journalism, Photography or English Language major preferred, but not required.
2. Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks undertight deadlines with minimal supervision.
4. Strong interest in news and news pictures.
5. Ability to commit to the internship for at least 6 months, with no less than 4 days a week. Shifts on weekends are required occasionally.

The remuneration is 110 RMB per day.
